This Company only employs pilots who exceed the experience levels, performance standards and qualifications required for each aircraft type which they are tasked to fly. Each company pilot passes a rigorous ground and flight check with the chief pilot when initially engaged by the company, and again at frequent intervals thereafter.  Instrument rated pilots undertake an annual instrument flight test to confirm their proficiency.  Pilots are trained, tested and approved for specialist roles, such as low level flight and dangerous goods acceptance.  The chief pilot will assign flights to each pilot based on the suitability of that pilot for the planned task.

Pilots are generally available at short notice, however they are obliged to operate within the time constraints applied by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). These requirements include limits on rostered flight time, actual flight time, duty time and rest time.  For aerial work flights (such as aerial surveying, spotting, photography, etc.,) the rules are less stringent and allow more flexibility.  The Company is authorized to exceed these limits under certain conditions, so we will attempt to accommodate your requirements where permissible,  or propose a viable alternative where necessary.
